We're moving full speed ahead to spread the word and make sure we can do everything possible to keep our breed out of shelters and to find any thai ridgeback in need the forever home he/she deserves. We're now on facebook! Come check out our page and and become a fan! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thai-Ridg ... 9027022120We also created a group "Thai Ridgeback Rescue Network" http://www.facebook.com/groups/edit.php ... 5575993137Please feel free to suggest anything you'd like to see, discuss or change about the Page or the Group. All suggestions are welcome! My hopes are that we will be able to create a strong and useful network where we can all pull together and make a difference! ~Jessica

We're officially reached "Step One" in becoming an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Group. Due to generous assistance from numerous contributors, we have all of the funds necessary to file the mounds of paperwork needed to get ourselves up and running. Thai Ridgeback Rescue Network is a separate entity than TRDUSA.
Initially, our goal will be to provide financial assistance to any thai ridgeback that finds his or herself in a shelter environment -be it for medical, behavioral, or all around general 'care' - whatever it takes to get him/her available for adoption. Our ultimate goal is to have a fully operational sanctuary where thai ridgeback's in need can come hang out until they find their forever home.
We have reached out for guidance from Best Friends Rescue Sanctuary in Utah (many of you might recognize this name as the place that took most of the Michael Vick dogs). They have such a wealth of knowledge and information and have already shared a lot with us.
Please feel free to post ideas, thoughts, concerns, anything here. We're all in this together and we need all the help and support we can get.
Stay tuned for more!

Great News!!
ANY thai ridgeback fostered or adopted through Thai Ridgeback Rescue Network will be eligible for a 5% discount on Embrace Pet Insurance! If it is for a foster, the insurance will be transferable to the new 'forever home'.
Thank you to Lea at Embrace for setting this up for us!

Hello everyone and thank you for your support. I am reaching out to let you know that we have every last bit of paperwork and are 100% official. While our donations have been tax deductible for some time, we can now begin serious fund raising efforts.
I know times are tough, so I just wanted to remind everyone that they can help us out just by searching the internet and shopping online. If you use Goodsearch .com to search we get 1 cent for every search performed. This isn't much, but every little bit helps. If you shop online, please check out Goodshop. They have hundreds of companies that will donate a portion of sales from purchases that originated through Goodshop, including Amazon and Ebay. They have tons of pet supply companies that participate as well. Many of these companies post coupons and discounts, so you can save money too. Just remember to designate Thai Ridgeback Rescue Network as the charity you Goodsearch and Goodshop for when you visit. If you download the toolbar, it provides a link to this wonderful forum, in addition to being sure not to miss a shopping opportunity!
Thanks for your support and stay tuned for additional ways to help.
Laura
