Hi everyone,

We just wanted to let everyone know that Cosmo's first day with us went well. He slept for awhile and got some much needed peace from shelter life. By the end of the day he had showed a drastic reduction of anxiety and integrated well with the entire family . The only problem we experienced was some food aggression and Cosmo was not the culprit. But that problem was easily fixed. We wanted to thank everyone at trdusa.org and the Thai Ridgeback Rescue Network for all the work in saving a wonderful dog. At this point it looks like we are on a good path for a very successful rescue. Thanks again!

Cosmo continues to do well at our home. He still isolates himself during the daytime hours but thrives at night. He is extremely loving to our entire family and fun to have around. He is slowly integrating into our family system and he and Roxie are working together well. Cosmo needs total training but he is picking things up at a quick pace. Cosmo is on a course to start obedience classes soon. He is slowly getting over some of the previous trauma he experienced prior to his adoption and this weekend he was finally comfortable enough to go on a wilderness walk with Roxie and the kids. He has strong hunting instincts and he hows like Chewbacca from Star Wars. He is a healthy and powerful dog. We included some pictures so everyone can check him out. Cosmo's adoption is an all around good situation. Thanks for all the support from the TRD world.

 This is so funny. Ella's nick name is Chewy because when we walk in the door she makes Chewbacca sounds. Maybe it is a rescue thing. I am so happy he found a home with you.

Thanks for posting the update Rusty!!! He's looking good! Glad to hear he was able to get out for a nice 'wilderness walk' and it sounds like he's getting better and better with each passing day! Keep up the good work with him! :)
